Life Together
At Algoma Christian, we understand that God made us for fellowship. From the very first man and woman, God intended for people to live together in community. With our diverse community of children, adults, parents, and grandparents, we have learned to celebrate in diverse ways throughout the school year. Below are a few of the special days we enjoy.
Student Retreats
Secondary students take time in the first week of school to spend time reconnecting with one another and being challenged to fix their eyes on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of their faith. Middle school students typically have a one-day retreat while high school retreats are for two days and a night. The students come together, and the new year gets started with the right priorities. |

Elementary Christmas programThe Christmas program provides a great opportunity to showcase our students' many talents. The program is preceded by music performed by our secondary band students. Upper elementary students provide the main cast of performers, and they are accompanied in song by the remainder of the elementary children.

HomecomingHomecoming is a great time to welcome back alumni and friends to celebrate what God is doing at ACS. Spirit Week is filled with all kinds of fun as students dress up differently each day and work on floats to present on Friday afternoon. After more games, the evening winds up with the Varsity Girls and Varsity Boys basketball teams taking on a league competitor.

Pastors' Day
Local area pastors are invited to enjoy a meal with us and see what ACS is all about. It is a time when we can honor the support our pastors give to our families and the school, and it gives our pastors a chance to see the young people from their churches in their "native habitat."
ParkathonThe Parkathon gives the upper elementary children (grades 2-5) a chance to show their support for ACS by getting sponsored for the time they spend cleaning up a local park. The kids get exercise; the park gets cleaned; and the school gains financial support. It's a great time for moms, dads, teachers, and students.

GraduationAt the end of 12 years (or more!), students are equipped to tackle the world. Few things are more satisfying than the sense of achievement that comes from reaping the reward of long years of hard work and study. Graduation is a time for the whole school to celebrate the fruit of our labor together.
